1) Begin at least 6 months before the date to have the best opportunity to get what you want

2) Both bride and groom need to be involved in the planning and final decision. What do you want to do on your honeymoon? Talk about it:
  • Do you want relaxation or activities?
  • Do you want sun, sand and water?
  • What sports and activities do you want available?
  • Do you want one location or do you want to travel during the honeymoon?
  • Do you want a place jumping with night life or quiet, romantic evenings?
  • Are you interested in a honeymoon full of sophistication or laid back casual dress and activities?
3) How much are you going to set aside for the Honeymoon? Ask about a Honeymoon Registry!
4) Now decide if both or one of you are going to make the arrangements.

6) Before you go make sure you know and have the documents you will need for travel. If going out of the country do you have a passport, proof of citizenship, or visas? I will provide all of that information for you.
